The community is invited to attend the Arlington Medical Center Open House on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm.

The event will be held at the Arlington Medical Center located at 104 West Birch Avenue in Arlington.

The public will have the chance to meet Family Nurse Practitioner Tonya Froehlich. Refreshments will be served.

Brookings Health System had recently announced that it had acquired Arlington Medical Center effective, May 3, 2010. 

The Arlington Medical Center has been serving the community of Arlington since 1989. Brookings Health System acquired the medical center from Amiel Redfish, PA who is retiring after 21 years of service to the community.

Starting in May, Tonya Froehlich will be serving the health care needs of the area. Froehlich said she is very interested in community education and hopes to integrate that into her practice.

The medical center will offer primary care, women's health and pediatric service as well as laboratory services, a service that was not previously available.

The medical center will be open 8:00 am-5:00 pm Mondays and Fridays and from 11:00 am-7:00 pm on Wednesdays. Additional hours or days of service will be considered as the medical center's practice grows.
