Patient Responsibilities

  1. The patient will notify hospital personnel of need for assistive devices or for interpreter.
  2. The patient is responsible for providing a complete medical history to the best of his/her knowledge.  A patient is responsible for making it known whether he/she comprehends a proposed course of action and what is expected of him/her.
  3. The patient is responsible for following the plan of treatment that has been recommended by the attending physician.
  4. The patient is responsible for fulfilling financial obligations of his/her care.
  5. The patient is responsible for personal hygiene and grooming as capable.
  6. The patient is responsible for being considerate and respectful of others' privacy and property.
  7. The patient is responsible for following hospital rules and regulations.
